This coffee is all about smoothness and clarity, without trying too hard. Right off the bat, there’s a strong caramel sweetness that feels really clean and straightforward, thanks to all that developed sugar in the cup. As you keep sipping, those classic Guatemalan milk chocolate notes show up—sweet, soft cocoa that adds depth without overpowering anything. The mouthfeel is what really makes it shine, with a creamy, easygoing texture that keeps the whole cup feeling balanced and approachable. Guatemalan Gold has always been a staple coffee here at Sagebrush, so we’re especially excited to share this new lot that delivers everything we love about the origin while still feeling fresh and just as delicious.
Arnulfo Leguizamo • Washed-Processed Pink Bourbon, Tabi, & Colombia

This is our first coffee from Arnulfo Leguizamo out of San Agustin, Colombia, but I promise you it won’t be our last. The dark chocolate note here is tempered by smooth vanilla sweetness that keeps the cup approachable and easy to drink. The orange juice brightness on the finish gives it just enough pop to make sure you reach for another sip. This is a daily driver. The kind of coffee you can brew in a V60 on slow days or put in your Moccamaster when you’re in a hurry. I’m so glad we’ve been able to start working with Arnulfo.
